Just a heads up, this did not come with the necessary connect code to complete the homework and quizzes. I had to drop an additional $130 to buy it online from the publisher. Do yourself a favor and either buy the book somewhere else that provides the code, or rent the thing and buy the Connect code yourself.

If you have never taken marketing, this book is not every helpful in the step by step process one would need to know to run your own business. It is more for diversification and international marketing in a global environment. It is actually 'TOO BIG' for our small little area and in our terrible economy. I feel trying to run an actual business - in North America in your own state would have been much more educational and helpful for any Entrepreneur. I would love to start my own business, but do not feel the need to know about other markets and situations as this entailed. Too much information for someone with no background in marketing! I would not suggest this book if you have never had any experience in marketing or business. This does not relate whatsoever to management in today's reality - way to broad of a scope. Needs to be much more smaller in scope. Also, the teacher scrambles all the tests that come with the book. All questions are multiple choice - which are known to be the most difficult type of test one can have. Teaching material - not a beginner's course that is for sure! Very disappointed our college offered this too soon in my program. In about 6 months to 1 year, I would have enjoyed and understood this much better. :o(
